We warmly invite you to book your little ones with paediatric surgeon A. Ivanauskas. The doctor, with 28 years of experience, advises on various issues of injuries, ligament sprains, bone fractures, burns, skin/subcutaneous lesions and inflammatory conditions. He also provides help:

• with abdominal pain and acute/chronic disorders;
• with continued treatment after immobilisation, and preventive examination of infants (newborns) together with hip joint ultrasound;
• with umbilical and inguinal (belly-button and groin) problems, when scrotal diseases, hernias, hydroceles or cryptorchidism are suspected;
• when surgical treatment of acute scrotal conditions is needed (testicular torsion, acute hydrocele, torsion of the hydatid);
• diagnosing acute injuries, abscesses, haematomas, and skin/subcutaneous/soft-tissue lesions (ultrasound), prescribing treatment and managing surgical wounds;
• ultrasound examination of the hip joint condition in newborns and infants, and diagnosis and treatment of primary pathology of the musculoskeletal system (flat feet, knee deformities, posture disorders, spinal deformities).
• The specialist sees children for preventive pre-school examinations, advises on posture disorders and various deformities (chest, spine, legs, feet), and helps patients with toe paronychia and ingrown nails. After diagnosis, the recommended treatment is either therapeutic or surgical, under local anaesthesia.
