AND klinika provides a wide range of free services to all patients who meet two criteria: they are covered by compulsory health insurance as provided for by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, and they are registered at our clinic.
What free services are provided to registered patients?
The most important person for every patient is their family doctor, whom they can consult about most complaints. The family doctor knows the patient's medical history well, monitors their state of health and orders the necessary tests.
In addition to family-doctor consultations, the following free services are provided at the clinic to registered and insured patients:
- laboratory tests within the family doctor's standard scope;
- recording of an electrocardiogram;
- measurement of arterial blood pressure;
- determination of visual acuity;
- measurement of eye pressure;
- determination of hearing acuity;
- examination of respiratory function (spirogram);
- state-funded vaccinations;
- family-doctor home visits under the established home-visit procedure;
- issuing sick-leave certificates due to illness;
- issuing certificates of exemption from studies due to illness;
- participation in disease-prevention programmes;
- issuing referrals to secondary-level specialists, valid at any medical facility in Lithuania.
How do I register at the clinic to receive free services?
Registering at the clinic is simple. You just need to present an identity document (a birth certificate for children) and fill in a contract and other documents. Free services and family-doctor consultations will be provided to you if you have valid compulsory health insurance. You can easily check this yourself by clicking this link: https://dpsdr.vlk.lt/PublicSearch.aspx
Once registered with the clinic, you can be provided with free services; however, we recommend waiting until your card with your full medical history arrives from your previous medical facility. This usually takes about 1-2 weeks.
